About 20 seconds. I'm using Gorilla brand super glue. Best I've tried. Latex fortified, not runny and don't crack.
Gonna try 20 seconds next time I do my arrows.
I usually let them sit for a couple minutes before removing them but often they stick to the jig.
I use the Gorilla super glue also.

Thanks to every one for the help. I kinda got the hang of this fletching thing. There were several problems. I ordered some new right helical aluminum arms from Arizona EZ fletch and noticed that the new arms closed quite a bit tighter and more precise than the old ones that were 10 or more years old. The other thing I did was get new gorilla which was probably at least 2 years old. I also got some scotchbrite pads and comet to clean the shafts. The above has made a massive difference. Now if I pull hard enough on the fletch they will break before they come off.

I'm gonna try some of those helpfull tips also but right now I don't have any arrows that need refletching...did em all after deer season ended. :)
