i do the same thing with brass inserts with 25gr add on weights that screw into the brass insert....most alum inserts have the same threads so i can use the brass weights in them also....so i have 25gr alum insert to start with plus the various weights in brass from 50gr, 70gr and 110gr brass so i'm not adding so much weight to the alum inserts if a higher FOC in needed or wanted....the trick i use on the alum inserts is that a small nub needs to be removed from the insert to get to the threads....i was wondering when some body would make an alum insert like the brass for adding weight to them ....now i won't need to MacGyver my alum inserts anymore .......bob
