i have a groundpounder mount and the sts system from bucks and ducks and i cant get the two to work together
do i have to drill the threads out of the sts ????
its not tighting up and the threads are in the way on the sts
only way i can think of is go to a longer bolt and drill the threads out and the bolt from underneath will tightin up with the groundpounder RIGHT ?????????
i need some help

Re: i need some help
You need 1-1/2 inch long bolts.
First: Screw the bolts into the STS and tighten.
Second: Put the STS in place with the bolt coming up through the hole in the riser.
Third: Screw my post onto the bolt getting the post as tight as possible by hand.
Fourth: repeat with the other side.
Fifth: Bolt on the top plate.
This should work fine for mounting the two together. Some have drilled out the threads in their STS for using the two together but I do not believe that is necessary. The above proceedure is how I have mine mounted.
Hope this helps. Todd.
