Illinois allowing crossbows now?

Heard thru rumor that ILLinois is allowing crossbows for everyone? true or not? thank you

HB1603 legalizes the crossbow for Illinois' deer archery season. It's sponsored by Al Riley, a Chicago legislator. I don't have any idea on the present status of this bill. I hope it is still alive. Gary

Here is the staus of the bill. Typical Illinois BS politcs. It could languish in the Rules Committe forever!

Having a rules committee in Illinois goverment is like having a cop in a whore house, it makes you think someone is going to get busted but in the end, you still just get screwed.
