Moving to Michigan

Post by Kelley »

Hi All! I haven't been around for a while as you older members know. I have been busier than a "One arm, One leg, Paper hanger in a Butt Kicking contest on a Hot Tin Roof". We have closed on a house in Fennville Michigan area. The appraisal from the buyer's of our Illinois hose is due in 20 minutes. We have had one auction of our antiques(and did very well) and are having a auction this Saturday for a couple boats, antique tools, and other miscellaneous items. Hope we do as well with these. We hope to be in our new house by the middle of May. Our intentions are to buy a house in Florida for the Winters as my osteoarthritis won't be happy at all with the Michigan winters. Got to go, Appraiser is here. Hope to be on the forum more in the not too distant future.

Good luck in the move. Looking forward to seeing your post again.

The walleye bite will be on in the middle of May. Keep a river boat if you have one.

Smart move Kelley!

At least you are now going to a state that will allow you to use your crossbow. I do not believe IL will ever pass the bill to allow everyone, not just the disabled, use our crossbows.

I also bet your tax situation will also look a lot better in MI then in IL.

I would get the hell out of here as well if not for my job.

Welcome neighbor. I'm in Paw Paw, about 30 minutes south and east from Fenville. You're smack dab in the lake effect zone, so invest in some snow moving equipment!
