Excitement level is still pretty high here, I went the next day to get some pictures printed, an 8x10 for his room and some regular pictures for him to take to school (fortunatly we are in the country where a kid can still bring a photo of him with a gun to school). He took the framed 8x10 and put it right in the living room "so everyone can see it".
I am bringing a friend out tomorrow to another couple birds I have been watching, I am sure he will want to come along again. :D

And two days off of school! The best lessons of life are not taught in a classroom and I'm a retired teacher! Congrats

Just got a call from Triggers and Bows, this bird won that weeks big bird contest! We are going to go pick up the prize on the weekend. It just keeps getting better. :D
