One More Knife!!!

Post by DaGriz »

Sometimes I have a hard time sleeping at night and when that happens I go into my shop and putz around. The last serveral nights I was putzing with a knife blade I started sometime ago and messed up. What was going to be a filet knife turned out to be a little small game knife. Used some leftover pieces of Birdseye maple for the scales. The knife has some blemishes in the wood but it is a very useable knife.

Don't know how I will give it away so I am open to suggestions. In the mean time here's a few pictures of it:

If any body has a suggestion for a REASONABLE and FUN way to giove this knife away let me know!

That is a fine lookin knoife ..i love the maple..
picking number and the placing then on a sheet of paper on your target is a cool way to do it..

place your target at say 60 yards and shoot at it offhand that way (if was me) you would be just trying to to hit the taget .
someone done this a wile back ..giving land i think..pretty fair way to draw a no.
If you do it I would like No. 13

Thanks for all the kind words. I do enjoy making these knives. It's theraphy for my old feeble mind. My eyes aren't the best so I always wind up with a flaws or blemishes in the knife. But they are still a very useable and durable knife. Sometimes my hand stitching in the sheath is off a bit or the dye isn't perfect.

Got to thinking about how to give this away so everyone will have an equal chance. I will start another thread titled I'M IN Every and anybody who wants to can post "I'm In".
At noon( or there abouts) this coming Satrurday, April 30th; I will but everyone's name in a bucket and have my 5yr old Granddaughter draw out the lucky name.

Please limit to one posting per person.

Good Luck!

I would love to give that knife a new home.My son is entering the apprenticeship program after his 12th birthday this month.
He is always looking at knives and wants one of his own.
