Under US law a crossbow is not related at all to a firearm, and obviously this is a wrongful seizure, have you been able to find a contact who is up the ladder a notch or two from the stooge who grabbed the stock and discussed the situation with them?
Yes . . .and it's just a matter of process. Instead of just calling the field agent and having the stock properly identified, Aging has to send a written request for that to happen. Based on what I have discovered, it's a matter of submitting a petition, which Aging will be doing by Monday.

Looks like there might be some hope to sort this out. Boo deserves it.

The LETTER is going out today. My guess is they will throw it in the trash and resume their customary ways. Cross your fingers.

Send it registered mail that they have to sign for it. Then they are forced to respond back. You will get it released.

I know everything will work out fine for the both of you. That is a dirty rotten thing for them to do. We all want to see that work of art as Boo's crossbow. Can't wait to see it all together.

Don, just think when you get it back, put a customs agents pic on a target, invite Mike over and I bet you guys will be able to pick that off a 100 yards! Make sure it's full body pic so you can shoot him in.................!
Sounds like a happy ending coming. Don make sure to post a pic of that famous stock attached to the bow. :D

Mike, don't stress. It isn't worth it and stressing won't change a thing.
