My diabetes sucks :(

Well my blood sugars have not been good at all the past week and I might loose my insulin pump which sucks... Don't know what else I can do to bring em down. hmmmm maybe I need to get my self a turkey the then they will go down from the adrenalin lol

That diabetes is a nasty illness & i feel fer you. I do knowed yer diet has alot to do with it. Hope it improves for you

I am a type 2 diabetic for over eleven years now --and so far I have not had too many problems.My doctor says that
these flareups happen from time to time and SOMETIMES are caused by an increase in blood pressure
which in turn puts the blood sugars up. They are tied together if one goes up the other one goes up and
the reverse is also true. Watch your food and fluid intake and be sure to take your medication and especially
have your snacks when you are supposed to. Remember when you get either excited or down your sugar and blood
pressure will follow.Lots of exercise and drop a pound or two will also help.

I have battled diabetes now for more than a few years, and some of the fights have been tuff leaving lasting scars, but my age is the problem more so than my diet. You are young and you can control your diet and exercise, with both you can beat away most of the problems associated with it. They are making some great strides in medicine an I'm sure in your lifetime this nasty Thing will be in the past. Get to the woods it a great place to be anytime...Plus it will take your mind off of it. Remember you can eat all the Turkey and Venison you want..

thanks guys i am on the insulin pump for 8 years and im 15 kn, my blood sugar has been obove 20.0, and right know my blood sugar is 21.4:( gota take a pee

Got er down to 12.2 but it needs to be alot better

Well Youngbuck you know you can control your sugar count most the time, I hope you get all the tools and up-dates to help you manage this awful disease, hang in there my young friend a cure may be found yet.
