As for that Damascus Sharpfinger...if you haven't already found some scales, here's how I see it. Maybe a thin red liner covering the handles, or white. Then the front would have Blue or torquoise fossil scales with a thin stainless divider followed by birdseye maple or buckeye burl stabilized wood. I think it would set off the damascus lines very well.
