String Question

Post by flightattendant100 »

Is there any way to tell if you have a standard Dacron string by looking? I have bought an Exocet w/carved tips and want to make sure that the string that comes on it is correct for the carved tips.Any hints on how I can be sure?

Count the strands. If you have 32 strands then it may be a Dacron string. The strands separate easily.

One that meets your expectations. Strings can vary a lot in characteristics just like expectations.
