I have shot a custom string made from a factory sample,and I shoot factory strings Excal part number is #1994. And welcome to the forum.

If your new to x-bows stay with the standard excel string that came with your bow. It's more forgiving in case of a dryfire!!!
If you have been around the block with these toy's then you may want to try a dyna flight flemish string or go all out and get a custom string. There are many custom strings...Boo on this forum makes one of the best!!
