New X-Bow Owner with a question (hard case)

Post by newone33 »

Fellow Excalibur Friends,
I just recently purchased the new Axiom SMF Lite Stuff Package and was looking for a hard case to store/transport my new X-Bow. Does anyone have any recommendations that will fit an Excalibur Crossbow? I feel that a hard-case will better suit my needs when transporting it in the car with my other gear, so that it doesn't get beat up.
On a side note, this is my first X-Bow and this will be my first time bow hunting come fall. I still need to sight it in but I can't wait to shoot this thing!!! :D

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Buzz

Welcome. You made a great choice on your X-bow. I love My axiom. When I'm not shooting or tinkering with it , I'm thinking about it. Lucky thing My wife isn't the jealous type. I have a soft case for mine for short trips , but I have taken the riser off and used my old vertical hard case . It takes less than a minute to do and it has'nt lost zero yet. With that being said the Plano case that wayne mentioned is hard to beat.

Welcome to the club, your gonna love your excal.
I'm gonna pick up the Manta 1133 case, as far as i know its the only one thats made to fit the excals. Unless you break the bow down and use a hard rifle case. If im wrong im sure someone else will chime in with some advice.
Thats whats great about this forum.......lots of knowledge here.

There is another hard case that will fit Excal's that is available through Gagnon Sports.
It's $190 plus tax and shipping if needed,
Based on pics I've seen of both the Manta is the one I'd prefer to have.
