I did it!!

Post by DaGriz »

I made this knife!! It is damn near is the hardest one for me to make as it is small and very hard to grind, shape ,and finish. Heat treating was a booger as I had to do it special so it wouldn't change shape or warp, But it turned out what I feel is terrific. It is one damn cute little Damascus knife with burl maple scales It's 4&3/4" long with a 2" blade
That's a grizzly front claw it's pictured with in an attempt to show size.

Sorry for the lousy picture, I'm not at all good at taking pictures of my knives!

Very nice DaGriz! I really like the shape of the whole knife and the blade.
Also, that's a big bear claw shown with the knife!!

Great looking knife Darrel. :D
I'm uploading pictures of the knives that you made for me to pass to my sons once they are old enough. Then everyone will see the awesome work that you did on them.

Super knife and a scarey claw. I thought the claw was a sheath for the knife at first. Any way you could turn the claw into a sheath?? Split it in half and use the halves for scales on a sheath made from something else? I'm just trying to come up with something so you will have more to do! 8) Gary
