I only show three kills with the Grim Reapers(didn't specify which ones) . . .not sure why more members are not using them. They get great reviews.
Maybe the guys that use them will tell us more.
***Average recovery was 11.3 yards . . .

I'd rather wear out than rust out.

I would like to try them, supposed to be pretty tough broadheads. They claim to have had no complaints of deflection off a shoulder bone, but thats coming from the company.

Re: grim reaper for crossbow
I will be trying them out this year. I'm a bona fide believer in spitfires...don't get me wrong, but i like to experiment with different mech. heads.
I will be using the 125gr 1 3/8th cut version.
Will let you know how they work if i get lucky enough to stick one!!

Re: grim reaper for crossbow
I'm a tried and true fixed blade hunter.
However, I do a lot of research as I can afford to and right now I'm working with the Grim Reaper 125gr. broadheads.
Last Sunday I spent about two hours shooting them from 20 yds and out to 50 yds. They are incredibly accurate. I literally spilt an arrow from nock to tip at 40 yds on the second shot. Getting good solid sub-3" groups at 50 yards.
Hunting and expansion? No info on that.

I am very interested in them as well; would like to know more;
See4miles; which model did you use for your testing? I shoot the phoenix more than anything, but was wondering if anyone has shot them out of an exomax?
Thanks to all for any information.......xbowholic.

Re: grim reaper for crossbow
Used the razorcut last year and liked them. They were extremely accurate out of my bow.
The meat don't fry if the arrow don't fly!

xbowholic,
I'm shootingh the razorcut with my Exomax.
These things fly as straight as anything I've ever used. I have yet to use a mechanical in a hunting situation, but I'm strongly considering it with these.

Re: grim reaper for crossbow
going to them this year, am a member on www.bayoubucks .com and a lot of folks here use them out of compounds, they are bad as can be. most recommend razorcut not razortip. you can visit the site and see some first hand pics of the damage they do.
