Would you

Post by DaGriz »

Pay $400+ for a special knife? I have acquired a second billet of feaher pattern Damascus, which is near impossible to find and outrageouly expensive. The first billet I made into a drop point blade with burl Desert Ironwood handles. Bill T is now the owner of that knife and I believe he is pleased with it.
I have the remaining billet and found some Exhibition grade Burl Desert Ironwood scales. I am making the second knife similar to the first one, which you can see on Boo's website, the 7th knife from the top.
I don't plan on posting it on the forum unless there is some serious interest in it. The feather Damascus is unique and my personal favorite.

sounds like a great knife!...however, i have lost a knife or 2 in the woods and also usually find myself cutting something that i shouldnt with it which kills my blades!...cant see spending that with my salary anyways

I thought I would ask. Kinda figured I would get the responses I did. I certainly understand budget limitations.
This knife will go into my knife cabinet along with a few others I have kept over the years
