First Crossbow!

Post by GooGoos »

Well, lemme start off by introducing myself. My name is Sabrina. I have been hunting and fishin with my dad since I could walk. Well, for the past year and half I have been buggin my dad to get me a bow so he can teach me how to bow hunt. I think I finally nagged him enough, because last weekend he ordered me the Axiom Excalibur. It came in the mail today! Lemme tell you, I am SO excited to finally do some bow huntin this year. I will only be able to hunt for 6 weeks because I leave right before openin weekend with the rifle to go to BCT. Can't wait to get this thing to the range and get some practin in.

Let me be the first to say WELCOME and congrats (on both the axiom and the dad, more dads need to share the experience with their kids).

I have the axiom myself and LOVE IT!!!

You will not be dissappointed!!

:D :D WELCOME :D :D

Just a guess, but I don't think the nagging got you a new Excalibur
My wife, daughter, & son, all hunt with me. There is nothing I enjoy more then being in the woods with them. As a dad, I get more excited when they get a deer, then any deer I have ever shot :D
Enjoy, & be safe :D

BCT or Basic Training. I leave middle of October for Ft.Jackson, South Carolina.
Thanks everyone, I will be sure to keep everyone updated on my new adventure. I am looking forward to it. I made a challenge to myself. To kill a buck, doe && hog with my hog before I ship to basic.

Hey the Army has some nice wildlife programs, I am going to be hunting out on Ft. Bragg this season quite a bit. I don't know about the other bases but this one actually has a 20 station field dressing and skinning room with gambrels and everything as well as room for 24 deer in walk in coolers where you ccan hang your deer for 3 days.

But allow me to say, thank you for your service (or future service)!!!
