Well The Wife and I just left when the down pour came!! 3:00 pm I believe, maybe 3:30. The Boo Fest went down perfectly!! :D Unfortunately no injuries or serious mishaps to report. A couple dry fires although! and I wont say who. An absurd amount of food, lots of booze, huge Bon Fire, and absolutely Great Friends to hang out with. 8) 8)

I may add that the Archery tournament was won by Catcher, but he didn't say who was coaching or who's Magnificent Bow he was using!
But I am very Glad for him, he is an absolute Great Guy,
and deserved the Beauty Prize he got. Congrats!!

Roly, it was really good to see you and the Wife again, and thanks for the continued use of your lighter.
It was a pleasure camping beside you guy's, even though you had to put up with my wining and groaning in pain all night, I hope you and the Wife still like us. :) As well, the knife you won from Dagrizz was Beautiful to say the least. Congrats!!

For everyone needing more info, there was a load of 3D Targets there to shoot, and alot of misses to go with them.
I Robin Hooded an Arrow or two of other people's, and I'm very sorry, but if you need to buy more, just PM me, honest, I didn't do it to get business!
Honest!

Don and Karen have a Beauty Property with tons of room for all. They were great Hosts and I give them "Two Thumbs Up" for the Event! Thank you Kindly!!
The Wife and I hope you will have us back again if you do it. We wouldn't miss it, even the wife had a Great time. As a matter of fact, she is no longer a Crossbow Virgin  any more thanks to Vixchix. I have tried for years to get her to shoot, and Vixchix gets her to do it it ten minutes!! :)

We and others have lots of pictures which I will load later when my back feels better or the meds kick in, whichever comes first! :D
There was some funny moments, embarasing moments, and good laughs, and I'm sure some are on picture or video.

Darrel: I want to thank you for the Beautiful knife you sent with Mike, perfect like I thought it would be, everyone else agrees!! You done real good. Thank you very much, it was a long wait for my New Toy, and looks to me like it was worth it.! Thank you!!
I didn't have much time to hang with Agingcrossbower because he showed up today as everyone was leaving and the storm rolled in. But he is very nice as well as his lovely Mrs. I was hoping we could have shot togehter or even socialized a bit more, but unfortunately not. I'm hoping it will happen again.
Talk and post later,

John

Sounds like everyone had a great time Sure wish I could have been there. Maybe next year, only time will tell. I'm glad that the reciepents of the knives I sent up are pleased with them. It makes me feel good to know that people like my attempt at craftmanship! Nice that Aging and his lovely wife were able to get there , even if a bit late!

Waiting for more pictures and the report from Don.

OK . . .so far we know Gerry is a good shot when he actually loads an arrow. I got a feeling the guy that loaned him the crossbow probably loaded it prior to handing it over.

More stories and pictures please . . .you guys are holding out . . .you are taking this, "What happens at BooFest stays at BooFest" way too seriously.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to attend BOOFEST and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would like to thank both Don and Karin for their great hospitality.

Furthermore, we got to meet a lot of great people face to face. My only regret is that I forgot to bring a camera to record such great memories, and so I apologize to those unfortunate folks who were not able to attend.

I suppose I could try to compensate by painting a picture of what happened at BOOFEST, but it would take more than a thousand words. Besides I was sworn to secrecy, and therefore, sorry Mr. Sumner, what "HAPPENED AT BOOFEST" will only be known by those who attended.
