update on Bigtime's situation

Post by wabi »

Managed to contact Bigtime (Ray Daughety) by phone this morning and he and his family are fine. The area where he lives was hit very hard by the hurricane, but they escaped serious damage to their home and lives.
They are still without power (it was on for a short time, then went back out), so it may be some time before he can report in personally.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully, Ray will be logging on soon to tell us all about it.

Hey folks! Can you imagine answering your cell phone and have someone as kind as Wabi on the other end? It was awesome. The storm took a path about 30 miles to the east of us but we did see winds upward of 100MPH at our place . We just got our power back on this morning and boy has it been hot and humid. We had a lot of tree damage but the main thing is that we all come out uninjured. I appreciate all the prayers from my friends and the phone call from Wabi was the sign of a true friend. You guys are the greatest.

Now, if you will excuse me I'm going to go hug my airconditioner :D .

Take care ! Jim. :)
