Was that Nissan very tender??

A friend of mine was in his tree stand with his son's crossbow and a bear was lurking below contemplating coming up for a visit. He put an arrow through it's noggin and dropped it on the spot. A deadly shot to be sure. :)

Well done Hank,
Its good to see the hearing aids are paying off. Nice shot.
Although a head shot isn't what you normally go for, I think you have to weigh things up. No critisism here. If you have the enough power, close range, angle is right, its withing your level of accuracy, why not 8) .

Congratulations!
Not a shot I'd want to try, but it sounds like it worked out fine.
Are you going to mount the skull with the arrow?

Congrats on the mulie! Nothing better than a successful stalk!

I'm not a fan of head shots either, but, I've made a few. It's really a high risk shot, especially with a bow. However, if everything is right, then it's lights out.

I'm glad you put the lights out. 8)
