Another Vixen-ite. Last years post updated...

Post by lscha »

My sis-in-law just bought a new Vixen II at the Woods N Water show that Jayson and Uncle Fester were working. I never get tired of seeing people fall in love with Excaliburs. We shot our Vixens ALL DAY! This was one of her 30 yard shots...

Then, we both took an off-hand 40 yard shot with Lumen-Arrows. And the hits just keep on comin'!

Just what we need. More good people joining the crossbow ranks. Its good to know that on thier first choice of a crossbow, they get good advice and get it right the first time. Saves them money and frustration in the long run.

Poor Debbie. Soon after we were shooting and having a great time, she developed shingles. There went our plans of sitting in deer blinds together. (She was going to run a camera). All symptoms of shingles finally went away 2 weeks ago. We got together yesterday and shot bows again. It was a great time and we are back in the groove!! :D

Had the shingles too back about 5 years ago.
Skin feels like it is on fire.
Had mine on the back of my thighs.
Painful no matter the position.

Doc said they can be treated with pills if caught early, before they break out.
I was to late and could only wait them out.

Glad to hear she is fine now.
Good weather, good friends and good shooting................can't ask for any more than that.
