Vortex sound dampening?

Post by bamabuk »

Can someone with experience tell me how to disassemble the rail for filling? And how much weight will this add? I have the s5 dampeners installed already and planto get a boo string with whiskers and shrink tube for the arrow keeper. And maybe rubber coating for the stirrup and quiver mount. I dont really want to go with a heavier arrow(410 right now). I know noise wont make much difference when hunting, its purely my personal preference. Anyone have other ideas for noise taming without losing much speed?

Why don't you guys wait until you get feed back from the guys I sent the info to. PM me if you want to know anyways.
Skullwrecker has done what I told him. Let's see if he has any input.

If you can't set a good example, at least serve as a horrible warning.

Wouldn't it be easier to just post the pics in the thread rather than sending them out a bunch of different times? Besides, my only email is through the company and I can't view attachments anyway.

Take the riser off and wedge high density rubber in the slots for 2"
