Congrats on your buck. He'll still taste good next to the potatoes and green beans.

Got a story to go with it ?
When i saw the the spike the frist time was going to pass on it , look at it with my binocular. decided was ok size for the freezer (did not get any last year).Had to move to get ready ,the spike saw me .so i freeze .after long time (just a few minutes )the spike put is head down . i told myself remenber second line in the scope for 30 yrd. haim behind the shoulder ,saw my lumenok arrow it 2 inch. high, the arrow did not go all the way through, saw the lighted nock and the vane, has the deer ran through the wood ,fiew minutes later heard the crash . Waited 45 min. saw a good blood trail for 10 feet then nothing (was all wet ,it rain the night before),so got my orange vest and my new never used 2 year old blood trail flashlight ,to my suprise i could see the blood (it had a sparkle to it ) i found the end of my arrow (the lighted nock and the vanes)at 75 yrd. the deer was 100 yrd away ,it had a broken leg (figer he must have broken it wnen he jump the fence and landed dead.did thank the lord for the nice harvest . i got some nice rookie feeling ,just like in the younger years. it was a great hunt :D
ps,
did not found the rest fo my arrow :?:
sorry for the long story
