First crossbow (Exocet 200), first trip to the woods with it, first kill ... Wild turkey!

I was in my Double-Bull Matrix 360 ground blind with the camo screens down. Shot through the screens using 100 grain Slick Trick broadhead and Easton 2117 shafts with heavy inserts. The loudest noise occurred when the arrow hit a tree after passing through the turkey at 20 yards. I have made two previous turkey kills with compound bow, one was from a treestand.

The advice from the guys at this forum has really been helpful.

Turkey breast strips soaked overnight in mojo, shaken in corn meal mix, and fried to a golden brown. Man!!! :o
