Thanks for the kind words everyone... yes, I was a bit nervous watching him walking in as I realized it was a buck that I had got on camera a couple of times this summer. I was unsure until I saw those brow tines (looked like white candlesticks walking thru the green woods) , then I knew. I started to get ramped up and I must admit I was talking to myself... "Here's your chance.. calm down... breathe... concentrate... the wind is in my favor... he has no clue I am here. This is never going to happen if you get ramped up and blow it." It must have worked. Once I knew it was the buck in the pics, I quit looking at the rack from that point on. For the next few minutes I just concentrated on the safety being off, making sure my Exocet tips were clear of my tree and the shot was clear. When he got into the open edge of the corn field, I just put the red dot on his armpit and the bow did the rest. Hit about 4" above his armpit and out the breast plate on the other side. Took a good slice out of his heart and he never knew what hit him. I'm very humbled by this whole thing... :)

Now that's a buck!

Kind of looks photoshopped . . . just kidding!

I missed this post . . .it was when I was shoveling the sh*t out of my house(for real). I'm glad you mentioned it in the other thread.
