The camera was about 200$ full hi depth and come with a helmet cam mount, and a head band style mount, and the gun mount was 30$ never see the hats but that would probly work well also.

They are alright but to see your shot you have to turn the angle by hand then when you put your head back straight they are on an angle. Gopro has such a wide angle that it captures everything strapped on your head. Rino not good for making movies as the Gopro. All depends on what you want it to do.
Gopro is totally water proof and you can even put it in water to film. Gopro is a little bigger and not as easy to run but the clear picture is what I am after. Mined you I want mine to make bowfishing movies. I picked up a Gopro HD 960 and a 16 gig SD card for $239. taxes included,at Best Buy store. Comes with rechargeable battery that you charge in a USB port. Head gear and a couple extra mounts and the cords to hook it to HD on TV. Hope this helps.

Go to u-tube and type in gopro videos and have a look. Likely worth the extra money.

This is only my opinion as others may differ.

I haven't tried the Lid Cam but my wife bought me a pair of IKAM sunglasses for Christmas and they are pretty awesome. They come with 2 sets of lenses and they are pretty comfortable. The costs is around $100.00 and they will video for about 2 hours even without a Micro SD Card. The great thing about them is you just reach up to the glasses and push a button to cut them on and they video everywhere you are looking. I used them at the range sighting in my Vortex and then videoing the shot groups pretty awesome I can't wait to use them hunting in the tree stand.

I have a Lid Cam and like it very much. Its light and you hardly notice it at all when your wearing it.

It does take some getting use to, I had to play with it alot to get it right and when tapeing try not to move your head as much as you normally would.

It takes get video and is fairlly easy to use.

To me it is exactly what I wanted and I'm glad I got it.
But thats JMO.

Its definitely a cool idea, but myself I would save a few more bucks and go with a GoPro, its just way more versatile.

A friend of mine has a pair of I-Kam Extreme glasses that impressed me.
A short clip he shot of me testing a new kayak -

http://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss49 ... =kayak.mp4

Just checked prices and I can buy from Amazon for $96 shipped - $99 (+tax) locally.

BTW - I was just testing a brand new kayak for leaks, etc before I invested in PFD, kayak paddle, and other necessary equipment.
That pond is shallow and I'm a good swimmer, plus I had help if I should get in trouble. I do not go out alone without wearing a PFD!
