Good looking doe. It must have worked ok if she only went 65 yards. Hate not having a blood trail though. :)

I wouldn't complain about a 65 yard blood trail! I've had much longer ones... :cry:

I don't knowed the weight of yer arrow set-up, but i have found with my vixen arrows weighing less than 375 gr don't have great penetration with mech. So if i use light weight arrows i use fixed BH's.

I prefer fixed BH's on most of my light-weight arrows, even 375 to 410 one's. I use a 150 lb model so i don't have alot of power, So i rely on weight, i haven't shot many animals using mech. BH's about a dz. Fixed around a 100 +

Congrats on the bow kill :!: you done good I can not see the photo I think it was moved .
65 yards is not a long recovery it takes a deer only a few seconds to run that far I have never used a mechanical b.h. to comment on the pass through but dead is dead congrats.
Hunt eat sleep repeat.
