Slayer broadheads

Post by pwweave94 »

Anyone else seen these yet? My local archery shop just got some and I'm their crossbow "guinea pig" so I am gonna get to play with them this weekend. Heard they tested them with a crossbow shooting 415fps with no issues of early deployment and were super accurate. So far only available in 100grain. Will try to get some pics of them on here by the weekend.

The name reminds me of the type of guy still living in his moms basement, wearing a black, heavy metal slayer t-shirt...

Their add doesnt help that image. Maybe they are selling off of it? :?

Have pics on the camera but have to wait on Queen Bee to get home and put them on her photobucket. Will try and get them on tonight.

Some more info on them: They are an expandable with a cutting diameter of 7/8" before they deploy to the 1 1/2". What I like about it is that for some crazy reason they don't "open" then you will still have the a 7/8" broadhead going thru. There are 3 blades that deploy. When you shoot they are rolled forward with an oring holding them in place then on towards the tips of the 3 blades there are like cut outs that "grab" and roll blades backwards to expose another cutting edge and that diameter is 1 1/2" Kinda hard to explain but it is a simple process to see in person. Hopefully I didn't confuse you too much lol. If it ever stops raining here I can start playing with them in the yard. They claim they fly like a field point. Only time will tell. The tip of it reminds me of a muzzy tip
