Congrats!!!! Any deer taken legally is a trophy, no matter the size. Not to mention all of the good MEAT you'll have! :mrgreen:

I've probably got 8-10 different tree stands but don't hunt out of them any more. I've gotten too fat, old, and lazy to exert energy trying to get up into a tree, when it's just a heck of a lot easier to plop my butt down on the ground in a little natural ground blind. :lol: :wink:

Speaking of meat, I've inheritated my father's home-made electric meat grinder/sausage stuffer. I have not ventured into sausage yet, but it has sure made ground venison a breeze. Combined with the vacuum sealer I received for Christmas, I'll never go back to hand grinding or butcher paper again! :D
