Pressure is on this week bows are shutdown Nov 7-13 in my WMU!!

Here in Ohio bows are legal from Sept to February - through all seasons (special muzzleloader, youth, gun, extended gun, muzzleloader), but during gun season I'll pack a gun. Not about to arrow one when the woods is full of people that would tag any deer they can get to first.

Bows are never shut down in Ontario. We just have to wear orange in rifle and black powder weeks.

That's the way it is here. We can hunt with them Oct 1 through Jan 15. We can use them in Primitive and Gun season, just have to wear Orange. Heck, we can even take a bow with use along with a Primitive (blackpowder rifle) during Primitive firearms season!wheelie wrote:Bows are never shut down in Ontario. I will lose the same week to shotgun/muzzle loaders here in 94B. Not allowed to hunt with bow during that week.
Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

I'll be picking up the shotgun and donning the pumpkin orange. 
But I won't be one of those running through the woods pushing deer - I shotgun hunt the same way I bowhunt. I'm actually looking forward to it!

You can NOT hunt with a bow during our controlled shotgun/muzzleloader hunts.
You can during a regular open season( rifles/shotguns etc), but you have to wear the blaze orange while doing it.

82b never shuts down for bow, 3 weeks we have to wear orange. thats why I would never waste my money on a muzzle loader here.
