Got our first letters from Sabrina today, shes sick from the flu shot and banged up her knee on the confidance couse, but shes doing well and hanging in there! Her spirits are good and she never thought she could eat a whole meal in 3 min or less...LMAO!!!

Sounds like she'll be fine if her spirits are up. Most of the women in my life couldn't dream of eating a meal in 3 min. My son and I are ready to go watch TV and my wife isn't halfway done yet.

Yea she seems to be doing well being sick and some bumps is all part of it. I enjoyed in her letter her talking ABOUT HOW THEY ARE HAPPY TO GET AN MRE TO EAT FOR LUNCH ONCE IN A WHILE.... BECAUSE THERE IS CANDY IN IT..LOLO

One good thing about it, all of the training will make her tough (or tougher)! You shouldn't have to worry about whether or not she'll ever be able to take care of herself.

Trust me, shes grown up with those words. I'm retired Army, I was a Cavalry trooper for 20 years. RECON!! In her letter she stated wed the 3rd they were scheduled for the Gas Chamber..LOL I showed her some video of the gas Chamber day from when I was Drill Sgt years ago...before she left..LOL

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...the gas chamber. Makes a 2 foot snot trailer want to form now LOL As I remember (and I'm not likely to forget) we had to say our name, rank, and seriel number after we pulled the mask off. On time, they did not use CS as they did not have any for some reason, but they improvised with Trioxane...for those who may not know (or remember) that was the heat tabs we used to cook our C-Rats...those things would kill you LOL

I will never forget the taste and smell of cs gas as long as I live. We had to eat a rat pack in there and drink a half a canteen! When I lifted that mask to take my first bite.......never forget it, ever.
