This Doe was killed with a shotgun about 10 miles from my former home in Illinois.

I've seen a Doe with horns that a guy shot but it didn't look anything like that just had a couple 6" spikes. He rolled it over to gut it & noticed it was missing some equipment

WOW! Quite the tangled mess there on that old girl.
I wonder if the bucks treated her as a doe or if they thought she was a buck and wanted to fight with her as if she was another big buck?? Crazy if the old girl had to spend all day kickin' a$$!

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

Re: Horny Doe
I can see why she has never given birth!! Just imagine a buck coming on to her!!
Last year I shot a button buck that I thought was a big ole doe. The buttons were about the size of a hickory nut. When I started to gut him, he did not have any testicles. Never saw that before. Did some research and found info that it does happen. Some bucks testicles never "drop" and results in little or no testosterone, thus little or no antler growth.

Area man harvests rare doe with rack
Rack has 30 points, offers coming in
Published: Thursday, December 8, 2011 8:48 AM CST
Richard Lomas knew he had a prize when he harvested his deer Friday morning near Mt.Erie.
He just didn’t know how special.
The West Salem man is now being contacted by several entities, including Bass Pro Shops, for his 30-point doe he harvested last Friday.
That’s right, a doe.
Estimated to be about 4 ½ years old, the deer with the big rack is rare—one estimate places it at one in 4,500.
For Lomas, it was luck, he said.
“I had never seen it before,” he related Monday night. “No one in the that area had seen it before.”
Bass Pro is reportedly offering $50,000 to Lomas for the trophy, but he said he has not yet made up his mind on what he will do
