BIG BONE HEAD IN THE BONEYARD!

Post by Mr. Dynamite »

.

These pictures are from November 12, a little old, but I was not able to post them before this.

This was a never before seen visitor to the cemetery. I went back the next day and he was gone. :(

To see him was memorable though. Started taking pictures of the small 8 (have not seen the big 8 in a while) when up over the hill charges this huge buck who immediately chases off the 8 point and proceeds to chase does all around, grunting the whole time, before calming down and eating.

And now here he comes charging in...

See his nose torn? Must have been a good fight!

WOW!! Those are some great pics of some real nice deer! Thanks for posting them up.

I can't help but notice quite a few trees there that would be suitable for hanging a stand!!

Hey Goose smasher, what is the biggest buck you have seen in there? Have you ever seen this buck before?

It is great to stalk them in there - just put a big stone between you and the buck! Always plenty of different stones to choose from, and as long as you don't startle them when you come up over the top they don't mind. The deer feel most comfortable when you are in your car though.
