It Could Happen

It Could Happen

Lol I was in the blind today and wrote that at the end of a post I made on another board...... refering to the fact I only had 3 hunts left for the year.

It was a good omen I guess, because this afternoon it did happen!

Shot this Ten Pointer today with my Equinox. 35 yard shot, 35 yard recovery :D

Image

I've shot 6 other deer with either Muzzys or Boltcutters, and this deer today, shot with a Rage 2 Blade was by far the shortest recovery to date. I was a little worried trying it for the first time with some negative comments (though most seem to be second hand) but I'm sure glad I did!

Congratulations,nice buck.
I was thinking about trying the Rage, but like you I've been hearing good & bad things about them.It took me awhile but I finally got my Muzzy 125s flying great,& took my first crossbow deer with it last week,so I think I'll stick with what works.

Munch you are right. This guy was still really stinky, and was full of debris in his antlers. I guess he's still going hard!

Wow!!!

Way to go. Nice job during crunch time here in Ontario. I was hoping to get one more hunt in as well but it won't be in the cards for me...

That's a beauty deer! Congrats!

Good to hear the Rage did a good job for you. I've been very pleased with them also. :)
