This has been a long season; saw lots of deer finally put one to sleep on december 22 at 4:30 pm.This was one quick hunt; left home at 4:15 got into my stand; late i know at 4:20 hung my bow; put on the FireBolt with the 150 gr broadhead;sat down and then i looked to my left and saw 2 deer right away . The first one ran to the corn pile took a mouthful like a dog on a bone.I raised my x- bow took aim; scope covers still not open; next tryed to pull the trigger -safety still on but i managed to get the firebolt with the bolt cutters do what they do best ; burn wax .That smell of wax is just like gun power to me; loves it. Merry Christmas everone Santa is on his way.

Congrats on your deer, I like it when it happens quick sometimes I'll wait around to see if I can get a double. Our season ended yesterday I ended up with 5 deer but none with the crossbow. I just received my Vortex last week and I didn't have it ready yet for broadheads. Good luck to you and Merry Christmas
