And a wonderful day it is!

I got up early this morning to the unbridled excitement of my youthful offspring. (My son woke me up so we could open our presents far before I was ready to face the world. )
We shared the good feelings of exchanging gifts. (We watched him sort through dozens of presents, then my wife and I opened our 1 package each. )

Then we went to the table and had breakfast together.
Within minutes of finishing the meal I was clinging to the commode emptying my stomach. (I suspect it may have been the new bottle of hot sauce I opened for my eggs since I was the only one that ate it, and I was the only one sick.)

Went back to bed for a couple more hours then got up and had a cup of green tea with a couple cookies this time. (So far, so good. :D)

I plan to relax for the remainder of the day!
Some more tea, a good cigar, feed the dog & fill the bird feeder should provide plenty of excitement and activities to complete the day.
I may even get the new fly tying vise out (one of my gifts to me) and tie a few flies for fishing next spring!
