I truly do envy those of you that can get the young ones invlolved like that, my hunting grounds are over an hour from my house and he isn't quite old enough yet (he is 5) to drag out of the house at 4:30 yet. As far as evening hunts i may take him with me one evening this week, but my history with afternoon hunts is absolute zero deers. Maybe him being along will change my luck!

Congrats on the nice buck and way to go using your calls, its great to call a deer to you and be able to make a kill on it. Its also awesome to get your kids involved they will be hooked. If you don't get a shot at the other big buck he will be a giant next year. Good Luck
