I am a professional Fishing and Hunting Guide by trade. Fish chiefly for salmon & halibut off the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Hunt BC personally, guide in Alberta.
Been at the hunting game for 40 years now. Taken most North American big game at this point. Most with a rifle, many with a bow. New to the crossbow, as I used to run a PSE Compound. Too many injuries to my left shoulder over time, can't hold a compound at draw any more. So, picked up an Ibex in the hopes of getting back into it...
Can't say enough how impressed I am with the new Excalibur! DEADLY! Took two whitetails with it in BC's late bow season. Meat critters, as I was a lot more interested in understanding performance capabilities than chasing horns. That particular mission now accomplished, the Big Boys have a little more to worry about in the future!
Hope to learn a little more by hanging around here.
