Last day....

Post by TYE »

Good luck to all the last day hunters!

Finally saw lots of tracks on my way to the tree stand this morning. Hopefully they're moving today!

Heading out around 10:00 and staying till the last minute. We have freezing rain on top of the snow making it loud to walk in. Hope they come back after we set up.
Good luck to all who hunt the bitter end.

Tye
I hope your last stand worked out , mine didn't. The ice on top of the snow seemed to shut down all wildlife near my stand as I made more noise than a construction crew getting in and removing the ice from my blind. That is just another variable that makes filling a tag so satisfying. I managed a nice 8 pt in the Nov gun season but no xbow success this year. Well, now I'll work on scouting for next Oct. As long as I'm in the woods, I'm happy
Happy New Year

No luck for me. I saw a doe about 100 yards away but she wouldn't pay any attention to the grunt call. Then had 5 deer walk across the road on the drive home.... Talk about frustrating!

Happy new year though, tag stew for me again....
