Dalton's Crossbow Wax
Just called Dalton's to order some wax and he asked if I wanted the regular stuff or the crossbow stuff. Of course I ordered the crossbow wax, but is this new? He said everyone at ATA loved it.

Re: Dalton's Crossbow Wax
Dunno. I was happy w/ the Excal wax that came in blue tub for years. Then, Boo turned me on to Daltons in the little green under arm deodorant type applicator.
Now, Excal has come out w/ new products which I haven't tested and probably won't. Reason is, I bought a can of Jig-a-loo when it was the rage and wasn't impressed. I already had some arrow lube for 3-D [Scorpion Venom]
I must admit, the wax migrating to rail was a hard pill for me to swallow, but after needing a credit card to scrape off discolored excess build up over God knows how long, I became a true believer, lol.
I don't much care about getting every fps I can and have a lifetime supply of the Daltons pre 2012 ATA.

Re: Dalton's Crossbow Wax
Yes there are two.different kinds of Dalton wax. One for vertical bows and one for crossbows. I understand the crossbow wax is a bit softer and easier to apply. I have read a lot of good reviews about the wax and if used properly should increase the life of your string without creating a mess on your rails.
