Hey Awshucks-- Used to visit Tinsman years ago. Good hunting and fishing around there. If you ever get over this way give me a holler and you can shoot till we run out of BB's.

Will do. Best air rifle I ever had my mitts on was a .20 Weirauch HW 97K that had been tuned by Mac 1 in Cali.

I had a 4x12 AO on it and got 5 shot groups at 10m of .078" That was w/ Crosman Premiers, 14.3 gr at about 800 fps.

I felt sorry for my buddy up in Illinois that lost his FOID card and sold it to him.

Put a different scope on it. Took it to a friends to let him check it out and he seemed impressed. I forgot my pump but we had enough air to get it close at twenty yards. Zeroed it in at fifty yards earlier today. Don't know if it's gonna be as accurate as the Excal. Going to order some different bullets for it and experiment. Will post some groups soon. There are at least six different bullets designed to shoot in this thing so I've got some fun work (work?) to do. Till I get a 3,200psi or better tank I'm useing a hand pump. Getting a good workout in the meantime. :)

Sip, take a look at these carbon fiber fill tanks. They are good for 4500 psi.

I want one for my Air Arms s410 carbine in .22.

Hey Blackjack,
Check out these sites and do a search on pcp (pre-charged pneumatic) airguns. I think you will be amazed at what's out there. There are guns in .45 & .50 cal. that use up to 4,500 psi or more to propel bullets weighing 500+ grs.
