arizona e z helical

Post by gerald strine »

I am trying out a Arizona ez fletcher with 2 in balzers and the helical arms and it really is a heavy helical , is any one else using this and are you having any problems with the veins rubbing the rail channel?

No problem. This is the best way to fletch your arrows. Helps with fixed broadhead groups and wind drift.

Good Luck

Blazers are short and helical won't be a problem.
Channels on a Excal are deep enough.

As long as the arrows are all fletched the same way, they will shoot the same.

Good to here it is no problem I was surprised to see so much twist on a 2 inch vein but looks like it should put a spin and create some good drag .

I have an AZ - EZ in rt hand helical, which has the long arms. Just got the 'Bolt' arms for the smaller vanes. It has a ton more helical. Works fine in my Excal[s]..........

The "Bolt' is the way to go.Great helical, super easy to use and no rubbing issues.

I was just messing around today with junk I had in the "archery box". Took some 4" quick spin vanes and cut them down to match some QS 3" crossbow Quick fletch vanes I had. Then I mounted them on a 20" bolt, (AZ EZ fletch with RH 4 deg offset) but I moved them back as far as I could and not hit the trigger mechanism. I also cut the moon nocks on the arrow off so just the flat was left. After some quick shooting, it looks like that will let me stabilize a 125gr Muzzy MX-3 that I could not before with the 5" vanes that came on the arrow. Moving them back gets you the same effect as increasing FOC without the extra weight. It puts the fletching farther from the balance point making it easier for them to stabilize the arrow. Anyway at 30yards same POI FP and Muzzy.
