Not trying to hijack your thread but...

I have been trying to find some dry powder lubricant called Jigaloo that others have been using on Archery Talk on their crossbows to spray their rails and their center servings, its supposed to cut down on the friction extending the serving life by a large margin. I was able to find nearly the same thing in a 3M brand here in the states because Jigaloo is no longer being sold in the United States according to all the distributors I've talked to. This dry powder lubricant is very slick and I've used it several times so far and it really slicks up the rail and serving without any mess whatsoever. I'm going to continue to use it for a while and just wax my string but not my serving and try this stuff out for awhile.

Hester,

Some of the Autozones and other auto parts places still have Jigaloo on the shelves and even some Walmarts have some left.

Jigaloo comes in a powder form?? I've only seen it around here in an aerosol form.

l've never used locktite except on the scope mounting screws & found that on all my excals the screws are self tighting & never ever come loose, but here's a good tip with the scope mount if you ever need to get it off just give each screw a tap with a medium size hammer, that breaks the locktite & makes it very easy the take the mounting screws of..

Heating up the bolt or screw slightly works also.
