Post by blackjack »

NO CROSSBOWS INSIDE THE HOUSE I GET FOR THAT THE SHOOTING RANGE THE WORKSHOP & THE GAMES ROOM WHICH I'LL MAKE MY BAR & COLLECTION ROOM.OR AM I GETTING RIPPED OFF   ..the missis gets the rest :D :D gota be happy with that, once l place the target in place it'll give me 30 yards from where l'll be shooting from, when me & the missis went looking she looked at the house & all, all l looked at was a suitable shooting range & workshop, the shed is 25.5 x 25.5 ft its never big enough ah..she liked the spam & bathroom so the house was sold  settlement is on the 28-2-2012, l''ll be at work till the 6-3-2012 cant wait. now use no why l study silencers so hard, neighbors.. what a pain, l'll post some photos of the range set up when we move, its not what l wanted but money & all, but its better than nothing & at 53 l just dont want to build to much debt again. hope this photo comes out big enough..yes your right its a freezer room next to the shed but the guy where buying the house of is taking with himImageImageImageImageImageImage

Congrats on the purchase of the new house.

The photo didn't come out big enough unfortunately, but I’ll assume you’re allowed the discharge of bow’s and crossbows in your city limits?

I'd look into it with a bylaw officer, just to make sure you're good to go and worry free. In my city there are absolutely no discharge of any firearms, bows or crossbows allowed within the city limits. Each townships and cities have their own regulations however, some are more flexible than others.

Cheers

Congrats! I didnt shoot when I got my place but I happened to have enough property with a farmers field behind my place that I can easilly shoot. After seeing so many people have to find a range I realize how spoiled I am. I REALLY want a shop though, a nice big one would be so usefull - someday maybe.

Congrats on the new place! It's not "ideal" but we all have to make due with what's given to us.

The old place we used to live before moving out here, the back yard was maybe 30 feet deep and inside the city limits. We moved from there about 7 years or so ago out to the middle of nowhere. We've only got 1.5 acres here at the house, but the land is narrow and long. I've got a 100 yd shooting range set up out behind the barn and can go out there virtually anytime I want and blast away with anything in my aresenal. Big advantage to living out in the country. :D

Good to hear you find something you both like.
There always seems to be some kind of compromise no matter what property one buys.

I live inside the City Limits. This is a view a while back off my back deck on my property. Middle of food plot beside the tree is almost 150 yards away.
