Got my string Thursday, put it on the bow and let it settle for 24 hours.
Shot 75 times today. Waxed the string after every 25 shots.

This is looking interesting, this may turn out to be really good for the higher poundage bows.
Thanks,

If'en the big pounders get over 300 shots per serving. Just think how long a serving would last on Miss Vixen, a 1000

Amazing how the brace height changes isn't it? Do you guys remember all complaints you hear that the string sits so high and apparently doesn't sink on some bows?
Keith, you had better wind that string up some before it hit hits the riser.

The rain quit and I got 75 more shots in today. Brace height started at 1" (to mid string) so I went with it. I will adjust before the next round. My original Excel string did not stretch anything like this one, nor did the new one I got.
Boo, your pre-stretch must have helped quite a bit.

Here's the pics. Serving still looks good but you can see a little wear on it now. Wax makes it harder to see, but it is there.

Here's my effort for the cause.
Didn't originally volunteer but I was persuaded after all.

2oo lb Exomag
Easton Power Bolt at 496 grains
The excell string not being for my bow came in a brace height of 2+1/8" at time of installation.
After 3 coats of wax and 48 hours in a warm room the string settled to 1+13/16". It sucked up all the wax from end serving to end serving.
After 25 shots it further settled down to 1+11/16".

Sorry for the quality of the pics.
Close up feature not very good.
Will have a better digital camera for the rest of the trial.

Just to add that the serving shows very little wear on any surface or contact point.
Also to note that I did polish the latches and trigger mechanism some time ago.
