Back home

Post by Raymond »

Hey folks,
I am back home from the hospital. They did a scope from both ends and discovered that I had a small bleed from the bowels. They repaired that in the operating room and gave me a couple pints of blood and some antibiotics by intervenous and released me once I was strong enough to come home and not loosing anymore blood. They also told me to take one of my pain meds just before bed. That is helping to control my pain again. I even went for a 15 minute walk this morning and that was great. It might not mean a lot to some but is does to me. The doctor told me that the steroids from the spinal epidural is still working and the next injection may last longer. I really hope that the next epidural injection will do the job without any pain meds. The two weeks with no pain was a blessing and so great and am looking forward to the next injection. .Glad to be back on the home forum.
Thanks,
Raymond
