want your inserts to stay in with carbon arrows?
After 60 plus years of experimenting I have found that if you use laquer thinner to clean the ends of your carbon shafts and then use JB weld you be pleasantly surprised at how effective this is. BB

I tried JB Weld on brass inserts in Gold Tip shafts and they all pulled out. The JB Weld stuck to the inserts OK but not to the shafts. I cleaned the shafts with acetone like the instructions on the JB package said. Glued them in with Gold Tip adhesive and no pullouts yet.

gorilla glue has worked very well for me and i have done this without the acetone cleaning step, using gold tips and brass inserts

I take a bronze bristle brush and scratch the inside up some and clean the shaft with denatured alcohol instead of acetone and then use Gorilla superglue or a new Locktite gel quick set glue. These glues come in small tubes and they work great I even use these glues for fletching. The Locktite gel works great without any white residue. Good luck
