Congrats on a Nice Bird!!! You stop calling them a jake their second year of life. Then they are the Dumb 2 year OLDS!!!!! LOL But I am not sure that is a jake, it looks to have a full fan, may be just a short beard. What length was the spurs? If they are nubs it is a jake, if the 5/8 to 3/4 spurs it is a 2 year old, 3/4 to a 1 inch 3 year old, 1 inch to 1 1/4 4 year old and so on.
God Bless,
Mark

tanks Mark..they were just at 5/8" so i guess its a two year old ?... it was a pack of 5 ..in hindsight i may have been able to line up a twofer,,, but an old hunter once told me the time to take the shot is when you get the dot on him..so i did :D
