Orangeville Huntfest 2012

I notice there have been advertisements for the upcoming Orangeville Huntfest.
Has anyone on this forum been to it and is it a bigger possibly better show than the Toronto Sportsman's Show? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The show last wasn't bad but not great either. More vendors and more products for sale would have made it better. Some air conditioning would have been welcome too. Since 2012 will be the second Huntfest in Orangeville I'm hoping the situation improves the second time around.

Doesn't have much appeal to me, at least not with the exhibitors so far.

To be fair Excal it`s still April The web sight ( not much imfo. )
Enormous tell us a bit more I will probably go depending on what venders will be there
Is large enough to justify the drive up ?
As for the sports man show ( last time for me ) IMO

Yes it is early and I will be checking back to see the additions to the show.
Generally speaking repeat vendors book their space at last years show.
I look forward to an all hunting show, but won't be driving that far on a lark.

Way, way over advertised. So hot you could hardly keep your concentration as you looked around. The vendors were troopers, they dealt with the extreme heat and kept on smiling.
The vendors were far and few between, it was a very tiny show blown all out of proportion by misleading adverting as to how big it actually was. It very well may grow in the years to come, but last year the highlight of the show was the ride there, and home.

Talking to people out west in Alberta it is a good show . So maybe with time and good leadership this show could rival or be better than Albertas .

We went to it last year to. It was hot in there. We made a camping weekend out of it so that was pretty good. Should be going again this year as my son will be working the gobblestalker both again and doing the calling competition. Just hope there will be more vendors there this year.

yep i will be their in the calling compitition and working the booth, their is suposed to be air conditioning this year witch is a plus side to it
