Pheonix Turkey

After not hearing or seeing anything yesterday (opening day) I was able to call this guy into the decoy alittle after 7am and the Pheonix hit its mark. 22lbs. 9" beard a 1" spur & a7/8". While cleaning I found a spur hole in his left breast and his left drumstick was all briused up ( I think there might be a ruler in the woods ?)

Congrats on the Thunder Chicken shaftthrower!

Yep, sounds like he mixed it up with another one pretty good. Now get back out there and see if you can find the one he was sparring with.

Thanks everyone!! Can only take one bird in the spring hunt here in Mi.

or I'd be back out there in the morn. Iam going to try for some bluegills in the morn.
